Excerpt of Article by Omwa Ombara
Thousands of Rarieda residents braved the scorching sun to attend a civic education programme last Thursday. By 9 a.m., Ndori and Aram markets were crowded with men, women and children in orange T-shirts, hungry for more knowledge. Many had not seen the copy of the new proposed constitution. "There is no need to read the proposed constitution," one councillor told a group of at the market. "Agwambo (Raila Odinga) has already read every page on our behalf and he says it is bad, so it is bad." "No, No, No! We shall not read it; Agwambo finished reading everything. When he says it is bad, it is bad," they chanted. They bought oranges that were being sold for as little as Sh2....
After saying prayers (Kisumu Town West MP) Rev Ken Nyagudi said: "I am a preacher and I am telling you that this constitution gives president Kibaki more even more powers than the Almighty God.".... "God created man with two oranges and one banana. And he created every woman with two ripe oranges. If you add oranges and and bananas which is more?" he asked....

I pray that PPP will deliver the Luo from the Odinga Bondage(OB). This is terible. It was traumatising to hear the infamous agwambo refering to PPP as pita, pata, potea. We will see how far he will go this time. And this self proclaimed Rev should know that the title doesnt make him a servant of God. How do you go comparing the presidential powers with the Almighty God's. Thats blasphemy, the sad part is, many of us are also behaving like the illiterate, and feaasting on mangoes. Objectivity, objectivity, objectivity my guys.
